Since the Fissure of Woe has already been completely cleared by a full DVDF-led team of 8 mesmers, it was now time to find out if the mesmer group could repeat that victory versus an enstrenghtened enemy. So, the mesmer forces conducted an assault on the FoW again - in Hard Mode.
Of course, they did prevail!
The 8 brave mesmers successfully completed three quests in the Fissure of Woe (HM) before they had to retreat - unbeaten (rumors have it that they had to leave in order to attend a beauty contest)!
The next assault will drive all enemies out of the Fissure for sure!
Yet again, Grenth’s special forces were called to action as the Darkness tried to seize the Underworld again. They were taught a lession again by a valiant team of Necromancers, Water Elementalists and Ritualists. Considerable spoils of war were sacked and brought back to honor mighty Grenth!

It’s unknown whether it happened due to a serious viral infection. Or due to intoxication. Or due to plain madness. Most likely the latter! Leroying, axe wielding monks! Infuser Warriors!! Barraging Mesmers!!! Scythe-crazy Necromancers!!!! Backstabbing Elementalists!!!! Everyone doing what they really shouldn’t do, ever!!!!!
It still happened….
This maddened group of people who totally forgot their place in the world rushed out, whacking and slashing and casting.. despite never doing any of this before in their life. Led by a maniac Necromancer called “Crazy” Amy, this group turned the world of Guild Wars upside down. Why would anyone use primary class skills anyway? Why would anyone use secondary skills from a class that actually fits to the primary class anyway?? Why would anyone be sane anyway???
First they invaded Hells Precipice and taught the Lich and his evil followers a lesson. Whether he laughed himselves to death or was actually killed by Crazy Amy’s group is unknown. Nevertheless, he died! Then, being their usual bloodthirsty self, they also rushed a harmless assassin boss and stole his greenie!!!
