The holidays are on their way!

For many of us the holiday’s are just around the corner. A beautiful sheet of white will coat the ground while blankets are pulled out of storage to be thrown on top of the summer layers. We’ll be curling up with a mug of yummy hot chocolate with a hint of peppermint. Sledding is on the horizon, along with snow forts, snow men and snow balls.

Here at DVDF we’re gearing up for the holiday season. I personally took the time to run out in the first real snow of the season and play around, even though it was past midnight, and I needed to get up early. So please accept this season’s greeting from Greener Pastures on behalf of the DVDF Alliance.

Happy 3rd Birthday, Angel Sharks [DVDF]!

In the last week of October 2004, a few people met in the beta test events of a new game called “Guild Wars”. They played together and eventually agreed to form a guild. That was when the Angel Sharks guild was born, three years ago. It is now one of the oldest GW guilds still active.

Of course we turned the weekend into a hell of a party, starting with a large gathering of members from Angel Sharks and our sister guilds from the DVDF Alliance. Our landmark Booze Beetles handed out alcoholic beverages with all pincers they got and the total consumption of booze was probably the equivalent of an Ale Hound title.

Our sister guild Blu Ray provided for a wonderful surprise - a line of 15 Mesmers carrying a Birthday Greeting:

The following day, we organized All Class XXX teams for all 10 classes to work out all the drinks and candies we consumed (wouldn’t it be a shame if all those beautiful mesmer ladies wouldn’t fit into their dresses anymore?). Here is a photo taken from the All Necromancer adventure:
