Balthazar be praised! As of today, the official yellow-approved builds will go public along with a teambuild that has proven to be effective!!
HISTORY:
Yellow started out as a joke event when only warriors and paragons came to an organised dungeon trip. Minus the Great and I (Darith Kaulk) came up with the idea of only using yellow skills - hence the name. This includes paragon, warrior and norn skills, furthermore only yellow consumables are allowed. Yellow seemed to be very different from what we were used to playing in GW. Specifically it was very tense, fast and sturdy. We blasted trough the dungeon and soon there were more yellow events. With growing success, Minus and I decided that a fixed team build might show substantial benefits from this style of play. Slowly we developed several standalone builds that were made to work together with any of the other players, eventually leading us to what we are today.

The Teambuild:
This is the established, all purpose yellow way build:
- 2x Dragon Slash Warrior
- 1x Earth Shaker
- 1x Spear Chucker
- 1x Motivation 1
- 1x Motivation 2
- 1x Anthem of Fury 1
- 1x Anthem of Fury 2
We use this build for several reasons:
- Dragonslash warriors have an enormous damage output and can provide lot’s of heals with Chorus due to lot’s of adrenaline
- The Earthshaker build can sustain continuous Knockdowns with an area of effect; very useful for Dragonslash spikes
- The Spearchucker is there to provide a ranged source of damage and disrupts (very useful against skills such as sympathetic visage, or if the warriors get snared.)
- Motivation provides a stronger base of healing than what the other builds are using.
- Anthem of Fury generates a ridiculous amount of andrenaline for everyone to take advantage of.
How do I “Yellow”?
Yellowing itself isn’t that hard, you just need to get that special feeling yellow offers (teaming with an experienced team might do the trick). You don’t need to keep a close eye on your backline or constantly have a designated tank. Simple straight-forward attacking and aggroing becomes the key. Yellow-Way can take massive amounts of aggro as there are loads of small, yet continuous, heals which server to keep the party at 80%+ life nearly the entire time. The fact that everyone can heal each other makes the build so strong.
If you are missing a player, Heroes are great for yellow-way, several tests have shown they run the builds just as intented (They even aggro like Yellowers!)
Accomplishments
Yellow has accomplished lot’s of stuff already, here are the most recent ones:
Yellow FoW Clearance
A classic area of midrange difficulty, but with alot of anti-melee wasn’t the slighest problem for Yellow. We cut trough NM like a knife trough butter and practically vanquished the place by leroying everything we could.

Catacombs of Kathandrax
One of the harder dungeons in EoTN got creamed by a yellow team. Fireballs or not, we killed that Djinn all the same!

Fellow yellowers, a new era of Guild Wars is beginning. This build will also go on PvX-Wiki and with some help, it could quickly reach the entire Guild Wars population.
